Journal Title：International Journal Of Surgery Open
The International Journal of Surgery (IJS) is a global academic journal in the fields of surgical research, education, and clinical practice. This magazine is dedicated to reporting on the latest developments in the field of surgery, aiming to promote its sustainable development through sharing knowledge, perspectives, and good practices. The impact factor of IJS is 1.531, the average time for first instance review is 25 days, and the average time from article acceptance to online publication is 4 days. All articles can be searched in PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases.
In order to enable Chinese clinical and scientific researchers to publish excellent papers on IJS more quickly and efficiently, and to promote Chinese authors to showcase the latest research results in international journals, IJS original journal and Elsevier International Publishing Group officially opened the IJS Chinese submission channel in 2016. The papers submitted by Chinese clinical and scientific researchers to the Chinese submission channel will be reviewed by Chinese peer reviewers authorized by the IJS original journal. The best papers selected regularly will receive free translation and editing services provided by the Elsevier editorial team and enter the peer review process of the IJS original journal.

為了使中國臨床和科研工作者能夠更加快捷、高效地在IJS上發表優秀論文，推動中國作者在國際期刊上展示國內最新的研究成果，IJS原刊攜手Elsevier國際出版集團于2016年正式開通了IJS中文投稿通道。中國臨床和科研工作者向中文投稿通道提交的論文，將由獲得IJS原刊授權的中國審稿專家評閱，定期評選出的最優秀論文將得到Elsevier編輯團隊提供的免費翻譯、潤色服務，并進入IJS原刊的同行評議程序。
