The International Journal of Conservation Science is a high-quality peer-reviewed journal dedicated to applied conservation science and its wide range of applications. This magazine publishes original research papers on all disciplines and branches of modern scientific conservation, including research on cultural heritage conservation, biodiversity conservation, environmental science and engineering, materials science and engineering, and more.
The magazine covers multiple topics, including general conservation theory, scientific investigation of art, certification, assessment of preservation status, compatibility research, monitoring intervention effects, etiology of historical and natural monuments, degradation mechanisms of different materials as structural and decorative elements, the impact of environmental factors or proxies on monuments and ecosystems, acquisition and characterization of new materials and procedures, new methodologies for preservation and restoration, related issues in interdisciplinary conservation science research applications, and biodiversity conservation.
