The Bulletin Of Irkutsk State University-series Mathematics is an academic journal covering a wide range of mathematical fields. Its content includes but is not limited to the fields of function theory, differential equations, mathematical physics, mathematical logic, algebra and number theory, computational mathematics, discrete mathematics, and mathematical cybernetics. Function theory deals with the properties and applications of functions, while differential equations deal with the equations related to the rate of change and their solutions. Mathematical physics combines mathematical methods to solve physical problems, while mathematical logic deals with formal systems and the foundations of reasoning. Algebra and number theory focus on structures and properties of numbers, while computational mathematics focuses on numerical solutions and algorithms. Discrete mathematics deals with discrete properties of structures and objects, while mathematical cybernetics is concerned with mathematical models of system control.
