European Comic Art is an academic journal dedicated to European language comics, cartoons, comics, and comic art. It is the first academic publication in the field to be published in English. This journal covers multiple disciplines including art, history, literature, political science, law, philosophy, art history, computer science, artificial intelligence, comics, visual arts, linguistics, sociology, humanities, geography, archaeology, and biology. Encourage in-depth research on topics such as manga and adaptation, dialogue between manga and other art forms, and have published specialized discussions on manga and adaptation, including discussions on the visual, narrative, and genre driven transformation of manga in cross media communication, as well as the forms of manga expression in different cultural and political contexts.
