Journal Title：International Journal Of Telemedicine And Applications
The International Journal Of Telemedicine And Applications is an international peer-reviewed open access academic journal focused on the science and applications of telemedicine, and the computing, communication, and networking technologies that support the practice of telemedicine. The journal's target audience includes practice engineers, academic researchers, and medical professionals such as doctors and nurses. Telemedicine uses information technology to enable doctors to conduct medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment and medical education away from patients.
The journal covers applications in the fields of emergency medical care, video consultation, tele-cardiology, tele-pathology, tele-dermatology, tele-ophthalmology, tele-oncology, tele-psychiatry, tele-dentistry, etc. The continued growth and new challenges of telemedicine, applications and their supporting technologies are highlighted, both for application development and for basic research. Papers should emphasize original results or case studies relevant to the theory or application of telemedicine. Tutorial papers that emphasize a multidisciplinary perspective on telemedicine are especially welcome.
